How often do you feel like you’re living a life that isn’t truly yours?
As if someone else is silently charting your course — unseen, but unmistakably present. Maybe through expectations. Maybe through fear. Maybe through old patterns.

The truth is:
🗺️ Your life map has always been there.
You just never really picked it up and looked at it.

Today, I want to invite you to unfold it with me — and learn how to read it anew.

The Clues Lie in Your Childhood

What if I told you that the dreams you had as a child weren’t random?
That they were already showing you the way?

Psychologists confirm:
Our deepest desires and inner patterns are often formed before the age of ten.
What if your childhood self already knew your purpose — and you simply forgot?

🔍 Your life is a map.
The question is: Are you reading it correctly?
Or are you missing the signs of your life map that have always pointed to who you truly are?

When Life Gets in the Way…

As children, we dream without limits.
We want to become astronauts, princesses, adventurers, inventors.
But then life happens. The seriousness of adulthood takes hold.
The pressure from the outside, the “rational voice” in our heads that says:
“That’s not realistic.”

And what do we do?
We adapt.
We function.
And in the process, we lose touch with our life map.

My Story: Books as a Compass

I still remember my little self so clearly.
Before I could even read, I was fascinated by books.
In elementary school, I devoured up to 20 books a week. Every Saturday, we’d leave the library with a huge stack.

I read to dream.
To escape.
To lose myself in other worlds.
Books were my retreat. My protection. My safe haven.

I wasn’t consciously aware of it at the time.

But at some point, I stopped writing my own stories.
I began living the stories of others:
Relationships that made me small. People who hurt my soul.
And while I seemed strong on the outside, my inner child retreated deeper and deeper — into the world of books.

Karin’s Story: When the Soul Breathes Again

Karin, a wonderful client of mine, loved painting as a child.
Endlessly. Tirelessly. Passionately.

But then the adults told her:
“Painting? That’s a waste of time. You’ll never make money doing that.”

So she stopped.

Years later — in the middle of a life crisis — she picked up her brush again.
And suddenly felt her soul come alive.

Why do we wait so long before returning to what makes us feel alive?

The Turning Point: Not Running Away – But Coming Home

Just like Karin, I used to think books were just an escape.
But then I realized:
I wasn’t running away from myself —
I was running toward myself.

All those stories didn’t just help me dream —
they made me stronger.
Today, I know:
📚 The books were my compass —
and they gave me an incredible wealth of knowledge.

Every experience, every broken heart, every detour —
they are all points on your map.
And when you connect them, your path begins to emerge.

Today, I Read Differently

I no longer read to escape.
I read to learn.
To understand myself more deeply.

Back then, I felt lost —
as if I couldn’t find the compass of my life.

Today, I know:
My inner child had already shown me the way —
I just wasn’t looking.

I’m no longer the little girl who needs to flee.
I’m the woman who lives her purpose.

3 Steps to Read Your Life Map

If you’re wondering how to find your map again —
Here are three powerful exercises to help you begin:

1️⃣ The Life Line

Draw a vertical line on a sheet of paper.
Divide it into life stages: 0–10, 10–20, 20–30, and so on.
Write down your most significant memories for each phase — and how they made you feel.
Look for patterns.

2️⃣ The Passion Test

What childhood passions still live in you today?
What could you do for hours without noticing the time?
And which of those passions have you forgotten?

3️⃣ The Letter from Your 80-Year-Old Self

Imagine you’re 80.
What would your future self say to you?
What was your mission?
What would she have done differently?
What decision does she regret — and which one made all the difference?

My Truth

These three steps changed my life.
Suddenly, I could see the patterns:
📖 The books.
🏃‍♀️ The escape.
💗 The search for inner peace.

Today, I use my knowledge, my story, and my experiences
to help others read their map with new eyes.

I am not a victim of my past.
I am the heroine of my own journey.

Your Compass Points Inward

Maybe you, too, have lost touch with your inner child.
Maybe you handed over your map and took many detours.

But now is the time to take it back —
and start connecting the dots.

🧭 Your purpose isn’t somewhere out there.
It’s right here — within you.

The compass always points inward.
